I spent nearly 20 years in hospitality, starting on the floor and working my way through some of the most recognized service brands in the world. That career taught me to read rooms. To understand what guests need before they say it. To build teams that deliver experiences worth repeating, and to recognize that the details only matter when the right people can find you in the first place.

What I saw again and again were exceptional service businesses doing genuinely remarkable work that their digital presence couldn't begin to reflect. The Nordic spas with regulars who drive three hours. The boutique wellness studios where the owner is still the best practitioner in the room. The micro-resorts where guests return every year and bring someone new.

The gap between the quality of their experience and the quality of their online visibility was the opportunity I couldn't stop thinking about.

The Origin

Why I built this next chapter.

I remember arriving at a mountain resort late in the evening after a long drive. The lobby was warm in a way you feel before you can describe it: soft light, the right music at the right volume, a note from the kitchen, a concierge who knew my name before I offered it. There was a small slice of cake on the welcome card. Someone had left it there on purpose.

That moment crystallized something I had been building toward for two decades: hospitality at its best isn't service. It's design. Every detail is a deliberate decision made by someone who genuinely cares, and that care is what guests remember, return for, and tell people about.

When I started consulting, I kept meeting the people behind experiences exactly like that one. The wellness operator who drives three hours to source the right botanicals. The spa owner who still writes every guest welcome card by hand. The retreat host whose guests don't just return. They bring their friends and quietly try to keep it a secret.

Their digital presence told none of that story. A website frozen in time. A Google Business Profile the algorithm had stopped trusting. Social feeds that went quiet when the last intern left.
